To those affected by the flash flooding and to the first responders leading recovery efforts, our thoughts and support are with you. At MASA®, we are proud to stand united with the emergency response community as they continue their tireless efforts to support those in need.
The MASA team is proud to be both built by and deeply connected to the emergency service community we support. We continue to be committed to supporting the brave emergency service providers who care for individuals facing critical situations every day.
Honoring the dedication of our MASA team members
We are especially proud of the contributions of our own Kerrville-based paramedics and sales executives, Ken Euler and Jaran Floyd, whose dedication to the emergency response effort during the recent flooding exemplifies the spirit of service within our MASA family. Ken Euler, Vice President of Group Benefits Sales at MASA, is a former lieutenant and paramedic who has devoted more than 20 years to serving his community. Jaran Floyd, Senior Regional Sales Director at MASA, is a lieutenant and paramedic with nearly 20 years of experience in fire and emergency medical services with the Kerrville Fire Department. Their dedication is a powerful reflection of the MASA values our team lives by every day: Accountability, Compassion, Trust, and Teamwork.
Our pledge to support flash flood recovery
To further support recovery efforts by the courageous responders and the communities they serve, MASA has made donations to two organizations in Texas that are helping provide vital resources to the areas affected by the floods:
- The American Red Cross – Hill Country Chapter: This chapter of the Red Cross serves the Bandera, Blanco, Crockett, Edwards, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, Kimble, Kinney, Llano, Mason, Maverick, Medina, Menard, Real, Sutton, Uvalde, and Val Verde counties, providing community preparedness, disaster relief, and other emergency assistance. The American Red Cross is an official partner in the MASA Cares program.
- The Kerrville Professional Firefighters Association: The Kerrville Professional Fire Fighters Association works to develop and maintain a safe and professional workplace for members, so they can better serve the citizens of Kerrville. The Association provides community support through charitable giving, as well as collaborates with the Fire Department Administration to develop policies, procedures, and response guidelines.
Committed to care, compassion, and community resilience
At MASA, our mission is to provide greater peace of mind for everyone accessing emergency care, so they can focus on what truly matters — healing and hope. We are honored to support the courageous emergency responders who rise to the challenge, making a lasting difference in communities struck by natural disasters.
